Containing Crime in the Manufacturing Workplace

This seminar will cover different issues and problems faced by manufacturers in South Florida concerning crime. Hosted by the FBI, this seminar will cover a wide range of subjects that companies need to be aware of, and be prepared to take action against. These include (but are not limited to:

  • Identity theft
  • Insider theft
  • Computer security
  • Industrial espionage
  • Transportation security
  • and others

South Florida can be a challenging environment, and this seminar will alert companies of trends, activities, and issues that are emerging in the area of crime. You can expect to learn of actual cases and touch on some of the growing criminal trends manufacturers need to know (and take steps to prevent).  Find out what other companies are experiencing, and learn how to protect your company from today's sophisticated criminals.

The FBI office in Miami works with businesses, and they are conducting this seminar as part of their outreach to help educate the business community on the many issues and developments surrounding the issue of crime.  Crime can happen anywhere and it can cripple your business.

Where: SFMA Offices in Pompano Beach, Room 212
Charge: Free to SFMA Member Companies
Directions: Exit I-95 at Cypress Creek and go west.  Turn right onto Andrews Ave. (first major intersection).  Turn right onto McNab (less than 1 mile).  Just before the I-95 overpass, turn right into the McNab Executive Plaza (1000 W. McNab).  It is across the street from City Furniture.
