Forklift Operator Certification
Training Program: English or Spanish
OSHA requires employers to provide site-specific and equipment specific instruction to all of their equipment operators. These requirements include strict guidelines regarding what type of course is necessary and the documentation that must be kept by the employer. OSHA regulations dictate that operator certification consist of a combination of formal instruction, practical instruction and evaluation of the operator’s performance in the workplace. In addition, employers are directed to certify that each operator has been trained and evaluated as required under the law.
