SFMA has developed a multi-faceted program that combines learning, practice and implementation, with the help of a coach, for those companies wanting to reach ISO 9001-2000 certification. SFMA has done this by combining general education sessions with company specific coaching (at your company and at your convenience). This combination gives you the most cost-effective way to prepare for ISO 9001-2000 certification.

 

Learn the methodology of achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification AND actually do it!

Previously companies journeyed to registration through an individual travail of trial and error implementation, perhaps with an expensive Consultant. For the most part this had been a lonely, often frustrating, experience.  Recognizing how important registration is to our member’s competitiveness; SFMA has developed a combination classroom and hands on cooperative group training program leading to certification.

We will teach you how to implement in our classroom. Then as the training proceeds, we will coach you in actually doing it at your location, based on the content of the previous seminar class session.  In this tried and true method, your team will learn the process of implementing, before they have to do it.  Then do it under the tutelage of our expertise. In addition, you will have the opportunity to benchmark your experiences while they are fresh; thereby gaining new ideas and knowledge without the pitfalls of experimentation.

Program Description:

Becoming ISO 9001 certified guarantees an optimal management system for any company providing a product or service; and ISO 9001 registered companies have better bottom line profits than similar companies that aren't. This unique teaching program and companion coaching is designed to instruct participants in the methodology of achieving ISO 9001-2000 certification for their companies and prepares participants to actually do it at their facility. The Program also teaches the coaching points required to build an internal team capable of achieving certification, by learning then doing.

 

Concurrent Coaching:

Part of each session will be a discussion of progress made by program attendees in implementing ISO 9001-2000 in their companies, based on the content of the previous session.  This will afford attendees to learn from each other’s experiences. Also the instructor will spend time at the company site in the weeks after each session.
