Job Description/Responsibilities: Test in-process material and finished products for Cedax, Claritin and MiraLAX.. The testing is done by USP, EP, BP and/or established standard procedures which involve instrumental and quantitative analysis. Perform stability test and instrument calibrations as specified in the applicable Standard Operating Procedure. Assist in the qualifying of analytical instruments. Prepare analytical standards and maintain USP reference standards. Assist in the development and evaluation of new and old methods. Order and maintain laboratory supplies and purchasing records. Write Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Test Procedures. Assist in the maintenance of reserve samples and records. Perform other work related duties as assigned. Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with 0-5 years experience. Must possess basic knowledge of HPLC, UV, AA and/or TLC principles. Must be computer literate and able to communicate orally and in writing in English so that others may understand. Must be available for occasional daily and weekend overtime.
